Terminal Exposure by Michael McMillan. $39.95, 233 pages. Color and black and white. Published by New York Review Comics
Here's a book we at Domino (and I imagine almost all our loyal customers) are truly grateful for. For those who have seen his work before (and not enough have, which this book will hopefully begin to correct), McMillan is a major figure, a cartoonist working in the underground era who seems to predict a different generation, the experimental self publishing mini comic makers of the late '90s and early '00s: poetry comics published within the pages of louder orthodox underground work. In full here we have a reprint of McMillan's sensational solo underground comic 'Terminal Comics', a handful of key anthology pieces, his 2010s m asterpiece 'Series ZZZZ' and much more. Beyond essential, don't miss this one.
