Tranquil Bliss by Ellen Addison. $6, 8 pages. Color cover, black and white interiors.

This is a comic I'm very proud to carry, Addison is quietly becoming a cartoonist that should be paid very close attention to. This work marks a huge step forward from her last mini, Mindless. Here, we find new purpose and meaning in her storytelling beats, a rhythm and tone to her panels depicting domestic and work life. Whether we are meant to feel bliss here, or the reverse, is not made explicit, though Addison's ability to create a strong mood is never in doubt. A great comic.
