I think this is one of the best pieces of art yet from Katie Lane, who has produced fascinating experimental comics in the past. Here, we find her drawing in her own hand, working with very direct subject matter and achieving something that is powerful the minute you lay eyes on it. An experience you can only have with a self published comic, this is a work to contend with...I absolutely love the drawing here.
