Meatloaf Castle 1 was one of the strongest comics by a new cartoonist I'd read in ages, and this follow up issue is lightyears ahead of that debut. The only way to describe this is: sharp as a tack cartooning, Herro is still relatively new to comics but is making a quality of work many hope to attain after decades of cartooning. Truly brilliant work, unafraid of shifting in tone and approach.
